I am hereby never allowed to travel without a camera, ever again. \u00a0This is the second time I’ve been in Sacramento where the Governator has unexpectedly shown up, when I didn’t have a proper camera. \u00a0And the second time I couldn’t record the amazing events happening ’round me. \u00a0 Last time it was for Katrina disaster relief Red Cross training, this time for the California Arts Council conference\/CA arts advocacy day but STILL. \u00a0Really. \u00a0I am a bad historian. \u00a0And I need to prove to my friends just how short our Governator is. \u00a0They don’t believe me.<\/p>\n

However, I am wonderful at trivia, which all of my colleagues and bar mates can attest to at the Pyramid Ale House this eve. \u00a0I am the girl who will win pitchers of beer, based on my knowledge of movie musicals and geography. \u00a0I will lose, however, when it comes to American rugby teams, cuz really. \u00a0How can I know that?<\/div>\n

But what the world is screaming to me is this: he exists. \u00a0Even if he isn’t the wonderful lad next to me at trivia, he exists. \u00a0Even if he isn’t the lad in my dreams, he exists. \u00a0Even if he isn’t who I want him to be, he exists. \u00a0So relax already. \u00a0He’s out there; just give in. \u00a0I really feel like I just need to relax, let go, have faith. \u00a0Because the world is showing me he’s out there; I just have to start breathing about the whole thing, and then, he’ll show up. \u00a0So, I’ll try.<\/div>\n

In the meantime, I’ll harass my elected officials about arts funding. \u00a0A girl’s gotta have focus<\/span>\u00a0on something, <\/span>for ye god’s sake.<\/div>\n
