Gone
Posted September 30th, 2005 by MichelleYesterday at 2 PM I got my deployment call. It’s now 8:45 AM, and I’m packed and about to leave for the airport- going to Alabama to be deployed who knows where, to do who knows what. I’ve heard all sorts of things about the conditions, and about the different jobs I might do, but I just don’t know- it’s the absolute unknown. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks. I’m excited to finally be going, nervous about what I might find there, but ready, so ready to get on the plane.
